quick door problem

ok so i was looking around my civic door and accidentally touched or pushed the little plastic connected to something piece that is used whne closing the door. when you close the door the metal hook on the car is latched onto the door. that middle area where you close the door. now it won't close. seems the piece is in the wronig position. anyone have any idea how to fix this? door won't close, its liek jammed right there.

its front door. i looked at other door and woudl appear it is in wrong position. but i cant see how i can fix it unless i unscrew this. and im not about to try that. i tried lock and unlock see if it does anything. it doesnt. :/ thats jes internal thing.

I remember doing this to my moms 79 Silverado when I was a kid, but back then the pieces were made out of metal.lol It has definately been a long time since I did this but maybe try using a flat head and lift up gently while holding the handle in the open (or pulled to open the door) position. If its plastic I wouldn't pry to hard and hopefully is this doesn't work someone will let us know. I hope this helps.
