Talking tranny noise

Ok ive read alot of peoples info on problems and what might be the fix to them on this site...and theres alot more people here that know there shit better than the 7th gen site!!! Ok so i have a 7th gen and i took it to like 4 tranny shops and they say i need a new tranny...when i take off from first theres a whinny clanky noise made when i take off from 1st 2nd.....BUT the tranny shifts FINE CLUTCH is fine no grinding no nothing!!! but just that noise...sounds like a bad bearing...but noone wants to find out if its the bearing just replace whole tranny....i was like thats crap....but im getting ridd of this slow POS and waiting for my white si with NAVi... should be here next month maybe sooner... just wanna know what i might be...heard alot that it might be the drive axle bearings...i dunno..but hondas giving me 10gs for the car Dumbass's... let me know sum info please!!

It's a Honda. Most have tranny problems due to the snychronizers, its been happening for years, not a major issue.

It seems Honda tranmission problems are fairly common but I wouldn't say it's not a major issue. It's costs a lot to fix one. In my opinion, tranmissions should never fail in less than 100k miles.

If you don't race the shit out of your car, the tranny should last you well over 100k miles. A little grinding here and there is bound to happen so there's nothing to worry.
