HID Questions??

I have 6000k ProLumens HID's on my car....
I';ve had them for about 6-8 months now...

My driver side headlight flickers when it tries to ignite, but the light doesnt turn on. Now I'm a pirate on the road. This happens on occasion. Any idea why my headlights do this? It works majority of the time, but I do run into situations like this...why?

make sure everything is properly connected.. you might need to go out there and buy a relay.

OEM HID components last long, such as Matsushita or Denso ballasts. Aftermarket ballasts, like the one you have, are a toss up. Some will work flawlessly for years. Others will have repeated failures. Prolumen is just another el-cheapo kit that can go both ways.

Check out PIAA. The kit is pricey but you'll love em. I have the PIAA kit and its awesome. 6300k and you won't have reliability problems.

I had the same issue, and in the end the driver side light actually went completely off. I took looked at all the connections and realized the wired from the original harness to the ballast were actually slightly disconnected. Ended up finding this out after buying a new ballast

it's weird...now it works?!?!?!....

I'm in canada...I'm thinking, the bitterly cold weather has something to do with it...

i parked in a warm underground parking and it started working again....weird!
