Talking question on windshield

hi guys new to the board just got a new 2006 ex coupe 5 speed couple of issues thought, any advice would be welcome first one day when it was warm i parked on car on the roof of our parkin,g lot. when i can out the check fuel cap warning came on. i pushed the reset outton an the readout changed back to the milage but whenever i start the car it goes back to check cap its been this way for three days now how can i delete it? also my other concern is the windshield an rear window, i notice when driving into bright sun the windshield has many small dot on it looks like spray from a body shop the rear window is the same, ive tried to clean but no luck i think the dots are in the middle of the glass, there not noticeable at all when driving during the day away from the sun light sun the window then looks perfect my question were they put there to block glare? sence both front an back windows have them? i hope so idont want to get them replaced:

If you buy some nice polarized sunglasses you will see that on almost everycar you ever see. I dont know what it is but it cannot be cleaned away its inside the glass. I think its for defrost but I have been wrong before.

The glass is hard to keep clean, especially, after you dried the glass off there is tiny water spots on the glass, and its a PITA to get out. Does anyone know how to get out water spots on the windows?

film on interior glass surfaces????

I'm having a terrible time keeping the windshield and all other interior glass surfaces free of the out-gasssing film from all the plastic used inside the Civic.

When I leave the SI out in the sun with all windows closed, I have to wipe the film away on the windshield. this film is especially noticable when driving at nite when headlights are on or when driving into the rising or setting sun.

Any suggestions on either what to do to on the interior plastic to reduce the out-gassing, or what to clean the glass with to make it easier to keep clean?
