I used to have it until someone on a thread suggested I pull the shifter hard all the way to the left when shifting fast into 2nd. It worked for me ![]()

Yeah, I jam it against the side wall, and it slides in fine. I will admit to having it pop out of gear when I'm revving high though. That was before I got my new shifter, and when I was trying to be slick and shifting when the light's solid. Now, not so much, but I shift at 7.5k.

welcome to the wonderful world of k-series trannies. There was a fix out for the 03-04 RSX-S with this problem. It has something to do with 5th and 6th gear synchros screwing up the timing on shifts or somethig.
Temp fix is higher grade tranny fluids like Royal Purple Syncromax. Or you can see if the Si will take a DC5R transmission. |

Never had that problem and I redline a lot. This may sound dumb, but make sure your pushing in the clutch all the way (seriously)...When your redlining and having fun you may not be engaging the clutch all the way. In fact, I find it goes into gear easier at high revs...

Well let me tell you the story my 06 si with 20,000 miles is in the shop now
becouse it jumped out of second gear keep in mind that when i bought my si i purchased the optional 100,000 mile warranty, they pulled it a part and said second gear in missing teeth i ve never miss shifted or grinded a gear in it,service manager says no warranty so if you have problems with it your screwed they want 2500.00 to fix it. well i told them they could keep the ******* car and i wouldnt pay a damn thing to get it fixed hondas reply they call me and say well were gonna fix it but its gonna cost you 500.00 as a policy warranty f**k honda |

might I recommend taking it to a different dealership? or if it's not in running condition, make them *tow* it to another dealership? |
