Question Few questions for people with 06 coupe EX's or Si's

Ok, in the specifications list on honda.com it says that the passenger seat has a walk-in feature with memory. Before I got my car I asked the dealer what that meant and he said that after you push the gray lever to bring the passenger seat forward, you can push the seat back and it will automatically go back to the settings you had it at before.

My EX does not do this and I was wondering if any of you out there are having the same problem, or if everyones is like this and our cars don't actually have the memory feature.

My next question is about the windows and moonroof. It says in the manual that they have a feature in which if something gets in the way to them, they will automaticall go back down.

My Civic also does not do this. Same question as before, does anyones do what manual claims it can do?

Thank you.

It's not computer controlled, I don't think.

Basically, whatever length position (farther to or from the dash) the passenger seat is, when you push the back lever to move it forward for rear-entry, when you push it back, it'll go all the way back, then lock where it was distance wise.

However, the back adjustment does not "memorize", so whatever position you had your adjustment for the back cushion, you'll have to re-adjust it.

yep, no memory feature from my experience.

I've tried to test the feature but didn't leave my fingers in the gap for too long for obvious reasons, I guess you need considerable force for them to have the anti-pinch feature kick in and go back to where it was. ( didnt want to try and see )

When I bought my EX Coupe, the salesman showed me and stuck his hand between at the top of the window, closed it (auto close), and once the window hit his hand, the window re-opened automatically.
