Honda reflash vids***Link fixed

I just got back from picking my car up @ Rushneck Honda. The guy stressed to me that this wasn't a complete fix but an improvement. I told him I knew that.
Now for the reflash. I LOVE IT The RPM hang is almost all gone from about 3800 rpm on down. I got stuck in traffic on my way back to work and it was a pain being stuck but much better after the reflash. Around town this is a BIG improvement. I would say below 3800 rpm it's an 80% improvement. Above 3800 there's not much change in hang. It's not as long as before but it's still noticable. I'd say 25% improvement here. The hesitation from all gears is gone. 100% improvement. I recommend getting this done.

and someone on fgcoupe asked me for a vid so I thought I'd pass them along

Here's a low rpm run

+1, completely agree

i love the ability to actually feel the throttle responding and being able to blip the throttle for a downshift.

Wow. That is like 100% different than mine. I am quite jelous and looking forward to when this is available in my area. Kudos to Honda for addressing this.

It is available...you just have to do the legwork and find it. I doubt if Honda will notify anyone since there aren't any problems that can happen because of it. People who seek it and people who bring the car in to complain will be the ones getting it

Sounds like a good fix to me. I'd just like to get rid of the rev hang at low RPMs like when in stand still traffic or in a parking lot but when I'm shifting at high RPMs I don't mind it holding the RPMs up a little for me :)

just ask for the HDS update...they'll most likely say "you don't knwo what you are talking about" crap but that takes care of the problem.

Got mine done today too. I would say I notice the difference big time in light to light traffic. 1st gear is better, the hesitation os completely gone.

Good Vids. Exactly how mine rides now. Open shortcut, then open the pdf file for the work order.
