engine ticking

okay ive searched through the boards about engine ticking and it seems like its usually the fuel injectors...but heres my dilemma and question...

my #4 piston area is ticking alot louder than the rest of the piston areas...i put a screw driver to it and listened....its a very noticeable difference...is the motor messed up? can someone else go out to their SI and see if this is the same on your vehicle?

and if its not, i have a fujita sri installed, if i take it to the deale would they refuse to work on the motor because of that? if not ill put the stock intake back in, but i would rather opt not to

you filled up with 91+ octane gas right?

I have the same set up as you, and I haven't noticed any ticking. I'll update you when I go home tonight though to see if there is ticking.

ya, theres been 93 in it since day 1
