Wiper Blade Problem

I have a 2003 Honda Civic and when you turn the wipers off they stop in the middle of the windshield without returning to their proper position. When you use the intermittant feature the wipers stop as soon as you release the wiper control. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

1. wrong forum as this is a 8th gen forum
2. your stalk control might be bad or worn out, as they do wear out after many years of use, try sourcing one from a junkyard or ebay on the cheap and see if that helps out
