HELP! i lost a socket

while doin my springs today i lost a socket in the little slot where u take off the 3 nuts to the upper tower of the strut...and i was wondering if i drive it around would the socket fall out somewhere and not be up the space anymore? i heard it rattle around im guessin it would fall out somewhere if that is possible let me know i hope every1 knows wat im talkin about

fell in there dont know if it will just fall through and go rollin outside if i twist and turn while driving

take off the wiper cowl, and you should be able to get something in there to fix it, the wiper cowl's fairly easy to take off, and once you take it off you have pretty much full access back there...either way a coat hanger should do the trick

ok i was gonna do that but it was gettin dark out but driving it wont drop it out some waht will it cuz i know if u lose a nut in the motor it drop rite out and im hopin it will do the same as long as it stays in there while im driving ill take the wipe carp out and get it out that way

if it hasn't dropped out from driving yet, chances are you're good to get it wherever you're goin' and worry about it in the morning when it's light out, or whenever you have lighting available

ok thanks im only worried if i cant get it out cuz it will roll and make nosie when im turning which is hasnt been doin much so idk ill take a look in the morning then i guess thanksss

i believe someone was talking bout before but on the windshield under the wiper theres a circle cut out that you can pop off to access the hole easier, i found it after i did my suspension. otherwise if that doesnt work try picking up a magnetic tool and try to grab it.

I did the same thing, but I was able to jam my arm down there and pull it out. Try a magnetic pickup tool.
