VSA (!) dashlight help

i got VSA (!) lit up on my dash.

i remember a few people running into this problem, but i can't find the threads for the life of me (search has not been good to me)

for those of you who have had this problem, is this a trip to the dealership? tell me what you had to go through to get this fixed and if im going to be out of my car for a few days/week

You're more than likely going to have to take it to the dealer. If you want you can try disconnecting your battery for a bit and see if it goes away, but IMO it's not worth it. Why delay a problem you can have fixed under warranty so that you have to pay for it when it's out of warranty?

When that light is on and you can't turn it off it means that there is a problem with the VSA system, either something like a wheel sensor is going bad (but that would probrably trigger the ABS light too) or possibly the acutal control box is failing. When I worked at Acura the "gyro sensor" was a common failure.

Are you talking about the VSA disable light? Did you try hitting the VSA button on your dash?

Just making sure.

Did you ever get it fixed? I'm having the exact same problem too, the light won't go off even when pressing the VSA button. I just got my car back from the shop and they said they had to repair the ABS wheel sensor, maybe that's why the light won't go off?
