the rattle machine

I have rattle noise all over the car, including left side courtain air bag and behind speed meter. After SIX visits to the dealer, they removed the dash and found out that the foam tape was misplaced. They fixed the foam tape at the bottom of the windshield between the windshield and dash, but not around the whole windshield. Took a week to fix it and now it is still rattling....Is there any foam tape or source of noise on those spots I should be aware of and I'm missing?

I'm thinking in getting legal advise to apply lemon law. I did not pay for a new car for 6 visits and counting....by the way, the left side speaker came blown from manufactury, and the top plastic portion of the wheel shaft has popped out twice. Poorest workmanhood and manufacturing quality of any Japanese good I've ever seen.

The plastic cowl that runs along the windshield below the wipers creaks if you even touch it. I can hear it creaking all the time when I drive over any bump. I'm going to take it apart and clean it and pad it with padded 3m tape soon.

Does anyone else have a “rattle” or vibration coming from their passenger side door? I get like this buzz when only certain bass tones are played, mostly when I am listening to sports talk radio.

I don’t think it’s the speaker because it goes away when I put a little pressure on the handle and inside panel of the door. Any ideas, hints or solutions out there to fixing this problem? It is starting to drive me NUTS…

Mine's a rattle trap as well. Very dissapointing comming from how good everyone and their dog claims honda to be. Just turn the radio up a little. I can't even drive this car on the highway without the radio on, or else the rattles would drive me insane. I get all kinds of creaking and squeaking comming out of the headliner. I think you'd pretty much have to remove the entire interior to fix all the problems these cars have.

dealershits dont fix anything the first time, they want u to come back because the mechanics there get commission on what they work on. most of the time around the 3rd or 4th time, the problem is fixed

Those wud be called comebacks, which in turn lowers the dealerships c.s.i. i dont know what dealership this is. where i work the technicion will not get paid when its a comeback for the same issue(problem). hence the technician wud make no money if that technician was flat rate. what dealership is this, b/c id like to work there lol

Holy crap! And I thought it was just mine..... I thought it was my front left tweeter making that rattling... So I took it out and what do you know it's still happens.... Not all the time but in the morning when it's cold or when a certain song is playing..... Like T.I's "You could have whatever you like"

What the hell is it?!?!?!?!?!?!

dude, i took mine in last week for the 4th time, and i only have 1 rattle left: the dreaded sunroof rattle. my car is better now then it was the day i got it. thanks to my persistance.

last time, they replaced the cover that goes over the rear passenger airbag in the back pillar by the deck lid.

persistance pays off, espescially for me since the warrent is about to run out?!?!?!

Yea. I heard of the tweeters going. But this has something to do with the inside door panel or the speaker housing, not the speaker itself.

Does anyone know if this is covered under the warrenty? Esp since I bought it in May. Or should I take the door apart myself and try to fix it? And if so does anyone know where the screws are to take it off?

Thanks.

I can't believe people just settle for getting fatter and louder speakers; this is a quality issue and has to be resolved as such. If all who have this problem spoke up there would be some sort of recall, or Honda would at lest try more seriously to solve this problem. I sweat the money I paid for the car.
