How many miles on your car?? If you pay for labor i would consider switching our trannys. I have 2008 5 sp manual with almost 20000 miles on it.

why not just buy a manuel to begin with, its going to cost you way too much in parts and labor for a car that is really not worth it. sell privately and use the 3k or more youll have to put into the car and upgrade to an Si. just makes no sense imho.

I've always wondered why people say a transmission swap costs sooooo much. If your transmission is low mileage, you can resell it for a TON.

its not really the parts, yeah they are expensive, but like you said you can resell. the real money is in the labor to do the swap, unless you can do it yourself, its going to cost you a decent amount of money. and in the end is it really worth it if you can just trade in and buy a stick? prob not worth the hassle...

I dunno, shouldn't a standard bolt right up?

Then you'd need shift linkages, clutch master cylinder and pedal linkage, and shifter assembly.

Wouldn't be super cheap, but i don't think it'd be as much as people say it is.

dont forget about the wiring harness inside the car, dash harness, new instrument cluster (to display PRND), ECU, etc...

good luck. waste of money/time when your done with it.
dont ruin a perfectly good car. be happy that it was GIVEN to you for free.
