woo woo noise.

When im driving my 08 si coupe and its in N and the car is rolling and slowing down to about 30mph to 0mph there is a woo woo woo sound comming from somewhere in the passenger side and when i step on the break the sound is louder. Is this common in the si? Should i take it back to the dealer?

as far as i know its normal... i've had it since new and the wheels havent fallen off yet...

inorder to keep a sane state of mind its important not to obsess about every little creek and pop you hear, just take the good with the bad, its not a 80000 dolla car, its a civic... and this is comming from someone that paid full pop, in canada with 15%tax, thats $32000...

Holy crap that video is awesome. "It's that WOO WOO". I cracked up when he almost crashed his car as he peeled away from the shop.

To the OP: It could simply be a bit of brake noise or tire noise. You say it gets louder when you push the brakes? Does the noise change if you push the clutch?

i just got through this problem. at first, the dealership changed the transmission oil (which didn't fix ANYTHING).. so I took it back and they blamed it on my sri.. (they ended up taking it out for nothing).. finally, they were sure that it was the transmission. so a couple days later, with a new transmission installed, i am a happy man! my car even sounds better?
