car wont start

Here's the problem.

I recently took out the PGM-FI Main Relay 1 located under the hood, to check another vehicle that had a problem with fuel delivery. Long story short, I put the original relay back in and now my car wont start. I dont hear the fuel pump turning on when the key is in the on position and realized that the bars on the temperature gauge goes all the way up and then goes dim as the key is still in the on position.

I tried to switch the main relay with the subrelay located one relay away from it but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas?

Not that this will do anything at all but did you try resetting the ecu by taking the battery connection off.

you have a short to ground, or a short to power some where. it put the ecm in a sleep mode so it doesnt get damaged.

how do u put it in sleep mode? Isnt there a fuse or relay inside the ecm to prevent it from blowing up?
