Screw the glass. I got a nice one on the car right after i got it and it took a good half inch square off the paint by the drivers headlight. I touched it up it looks alrght its holding on their solid so im not going to mess with it. I would have been glad to have a nice rock in the window compared to the body work.

I've got about 3 minor chips on the front bumper...they're annoying as hell!

I have seen from a few people on this board, saying that the windshield chips and pits ridiculously easy, and these allegations don't surprise me, considering how easy the paint chips/scratches.

Doesn't help that the windshield is so friggin huge that something like that is bound to happen. Kinda like an ultra big bullseye.

I have two decent chips already, but nothing came through the window. I was wondering the same thing. I drive a lot of highway miles - 500/wk or so.

Anyone know of a product or provider that does chip sealant? I am faily handy and willing to give it a try myself if there is a good product out there.

Thanks,

Jim/Less
