SI! owner

well i was just wondering if anybody have the same problem with their SI
so like for me when i drive my car it feels like it get really hot inside the car
it gets hot like around the paddle area i dont know if that suppost to happen
pls reply thanks

does anyone feels that there SI get really hot on the inside after driving for a long time i dont know if this happen to others or just me pls rply thanks

I think it has something to do with the AC functions. It seems that unless I KEEP it at the coldest setting, the fan shuts off and vents in engine heat. I dont' notice it too much now, probably just got used to it.

Something maybe like this? Although, it would seem that if this was the problem, your car would be getting cold if you're running the AC...

Center console and lower dash heating up.

you do know that the headers run RIGHT down the center..where the pedals are and center console is

maybe thats why it's hotter than normal

This is a common problem with any 8th gen Civic. The dash is huge and emits a lot of heat and as mentioned, the headers are RIGHT there too. I noticed that a lot of heat hits my thighs when I'm wearing shorts and driving. It's pretty crazy. I was doing a photo shoot yesterday and I was standing outside my driver's door and couldn't believe how much heat the car was emitting to the environment outside the car!
