hey guys and gals i have a A/F ratio gauge that i am wanting to hook up in my car. Its a single gauge with a single pod. I was wanting to hook it up to monitor my A/F ratio's and make sure my car is running correctly. How and where do i hook this up? I am really really new at this and need help.

how many wires? if four, red is 12v power, black is ground, not sure what white is for and the green you have to run it down to the O2 sensor by your header/exhaust.

splicing into you stock o2 sensor can be kinda scetchy i would buy a AEM UEGO it comes with a wide band O2 sensor youll just need to get it mounted to your pipeing

Do not tap into your O2 sensor wires. It will cause resistance to go up in the wiring causing the voltages to change causing the readings that the ECU sees as being something different than it's supposed to. The voltages are how the ECU determines what AFR the car should be running at. This will cause serious problems with your fuel trims and stuff. Never cut or splice or repair O2 sensor wiring. If you damage wires or something ALWAYS replace the entire sensor.

I'm also interested in knowing this. I have a AEM UEGO that I've had for about a month because I'm not sure where to run wiring to the O2 sensor. I already had a bung welded on my VRH. I was thinking to run it through the rubber grommet under the center console that is used for the stock secondary 02 sensor, but I already have the wiring for my ecutout running through there.
Firewall? If so, where do I tap into for power?
What did you all do?

Thanks in advance.

You have to find a hole big enough to get the connector through the firewall. You will not be able to get it through the stock O2 sensor hole. I think. I just wired my power source for my AEM UEGO into the fuse box at a switched power spot. Buss Fuse makes circuit add on kits that are fused and plug right into an empty fuse socket in the fuse box. It has one power lead wire coming off with a butt connector already on it. Then you just put the power wire on and then run the ground to a spot under the dash. I used an existing ground location by the clutch pedal. There are only 3 wires o the AEm. Power, ground and the one for datalogging. Which unless you have an extra EMS you will not use. Then just plug the O2 sensor into the extension wire and then mount your gauge. It's actually extremely easy to install. The hardest part is running the harness through the firewall. Good luck dude.

O yea. you will need a test light to test the fuse socket to find out which one is switched and which one is constant. DO NOT USE A CONSTANT POWER SOCKET. The gauge will never turn off and you will burn out your O2 sensor. Also those adapters are available at Advance or Pep Boys.
