warranty after aftermarket intake was installed

when u install a CAI or intake does it void the warranty? i have a CAI in my ex coupe n im gettin an oil change from the dealer next week...

this has been addressed before, but no, it shouldn't void your warranty unless any warranty claim is directly related to the installation and use of your CAI... which it probably isn't.... probably.

It won't necessarily be direct. If they suspect that the CAI was a main factor in a failure of a part that is covered under warranty, then they'll tell you that you were at fault.

But I mean, having the CAI there makes you rather vulnerable. They could easily tell you it was a factor in anything...

this is what i got when i bought 18's for my civic....
Honda told me that if the CVDs or Engine go out on me
that this would be because of the excessive weight/load
from the bigger wheels....

I laughed at his ass and told him to shove it!

What kind of intake if you don't mind my asking? Wouldn't happen to be AEM's would it? If you're that worried, just buy an AEM dryflow filter. They don't capture dust as good as oiled filters, but they also won't void your warranty.

i have an injen cai... its oiled filter... im just worried that they might record that i hav an cai when i get my oil change... i get my oil change from the dealer...
