Get rid of Check Engine w/ Race Header? Help!

Hey guys I need some help and advice. I have a race header for my car ( 08 SI) with out the cat. I heard that if i put an 02 sensor spacer in the second sensor space where the cat would be that i should not get a engine check light.

Is this true?

I have also heard that this may effect how the car runs i.e Richer or leaner.

Im not a tech wiz and i dont want to damage my car. What would be some other problems that might occur or what benifits would there be?

Oh yea and is the space something comon that i can pick up from any auto store? or would i need to fabrocate or find something similar to it?

Thank You Guys!!

get the non-sparkfouler from autozone. drill at the hole with a 1/2 drill bit with WD-40. then put the o2 sensor in the fouler piece.

And no, it wont make you run rich or lean. just a CEL.
