Visor Recall?

Don't know if this is true . My husband said my Honda dealer called and said there is a visor recall and my 2007 Honda Civic can be taken in to get them replaced.

He wants to borrow my car on Friday so he can take it in and I can drive his truck to work.

My birthday is on Sunday so I don't know if he wants to borrow my car for another reason...like a birthday present...sound system etc.

I have had to get my visors replace three times already

Twice on the drivers side and once on the passengers..I hope Honda has finally decided to replace them.

Anyone else heard of a visor recall?

I work at a honda dealership in Oregon and I know we replace them under warranty all the time. So it wouldnt hurt to check>

I don't think there is a recall on them but there is a TSB.

i am with him, but tell your husband, next to use something more believable, like NASA wants to use your car, to send it into space, not that lame visor recall.

Thanks for the TSB! I printed it out to bring to Honda here, because they don't know anything about the bad visors, my passenger visor is split just like everybody elses due to the sun......Thanks!

yeah there was a recall i believe
cause it happened ot my car and my dad was yelling at me for ripping them off....
and i was like wtf, i came back and it liked melted off
so he took i back to honda and they said there was a problem with it and they replaced it

J/K. My visor broke too but I have not warranty. damn what I said is messed up but my delete button doesnt work. sorry.

they sent a letter in the mail to my house and said there was a recall for the visor in my car and that you can take it to get fixed if your car has less than 100,000 miles on it, which sucks because mines broken, but my car has over 100,000 miles on it!!!

I got a letter in the mail from some attorney in California and Honda is now fixing sun visors on 06-09 Civics for 7 years or 100,000 miles. Check with your Honda dealer. Honda replaced both my visors for free and I have 62k+ miles.

thank the lord i just checked 8th civic. my visor broke today and i just turned 60k. i almost bought one off of fleabay for 50 bucks.

Just wanted to throw this out there but I actually went ahead and fixed my visor myself today by drilling some holes in the visor and securing the visor closed with some zip-ties. May not look as nice but I will never have to replace my visor or worry about it again.

I got the same thing and I live in So. Cali but when I read it I just lmao cause (1) my car is an 06, and (2) my car has 138,000+ miles.. It ok though.. I really dont use my visor all that much..

Yeah both of my sunvisors broke last year finally found out honda is doing a recall. I wonder if there gonna just put in the same defective ****?

May not look as nice but I will never have to replace my visor or worry about it again.
