help guys!!!

i put in some blue led map & dome lights but now when i close the door they never shut off! the switch is on "door" and ive even let my car sit for 20 mins but they still stayed on. anyone know how to fix this problem or no if the lights will eventually drain my battery if i just leave them on? thanks..

and its not because the map light button is pushed in.

Check your continuum transfunctioner. I think you need to change the fluid.

Just disconnect the battery everytime you exit the car.

put the old bulbs back in and see if problem goes away you may have shorted the terminals where the bulbs plug in it stll sounds like you have the lights on meaning pushed in .....also after exiting car ....lock car with remote they should dim out it takes a few seconds...

lol...sorry....beat you to that.

OP, yeah make sure you didn't accidentally push the map lights in to have them turned on all the time. could be the reason why it's not turning off.

if you can't get it to turn off, i'd advise you to pick up a set of jumper cables.

p.s.- i have SuperBrightLED bulbs thruout the interior of my Si + the trunk, reverse lights, & license plate lights... & zero issues with neverendinglightson problems. *shrug*

BTW, leds use such a small amount of electricity compared to the stock bulbs that you could leave them on for months and your car will still start fine, and the bulbs could be left on for over 10 years before they burn out...
