Corsport Short Shifter Problem!!!!!!
I am installing my Corsport Short Shifter on my car right now, when I put the short shifter on the shifter, and then put the cable on the short shifter it rubs on the base of the shifter because short shifter seems to not go all the way up the shifter. Help please!!!!

This is common with the Corsport SS.
You have to FORCE the SS up onto the shifter. You can either sand down the plastic, or let it rub until it forms a groove. |

Try prying it up with a screwdriver between the plastic it'll rub on and the shifter. Might give ya enough force without trying to fit a hammer in there cause I'd never be able to do that.
Or sand down the B for an even shorter shift. The longer that piece of the shifter is, the shorter you'll shift. If you like what you have, tighten it there and sand the B. |
