Drivers side visor about to break!

Damnit,i knew this was eventually going to happen. The visor due to heat is expanding and looks like its going to break. I'll have to make an appointment to my dealer to get this fixed. Damn this pisses me off. I hope the replacement visors are all cloth like the CRV if they are not ill see if i can get CRV visors instead and if they'll fit which i hope they will.

The new civic's visors are fixed. They dont split when they are going into the closed position. They look exactly the same as the old ones. I got mine fixed today. I have to bring it back in though because one of the mirrors was shattered. I have to wait ANOTHER 3 days for the part to arrive. Stupid Today the 13th

It is so weird to me. I have had so many problems, but my sun visors have never been bad to me.

They'll replace yours under warranty, but I don't think they'll use anything other than Civic visors.

Never heard of that happening.

I think my visor mirror was shattered during shipping or something.

Some 2006 models were not sealed properly from the factory (the rear window) and they are prone to breaking or coming off while driving.

Amazing.....is there a TSB or recall on this yet? i hope who ever the hell did these shoddy quality jobs got his ass fired or something at the Alliston plant. There would be no recalls and no problems if our Civics were made in Japan. The Hybrids are and there is not a single problem and no recalls. But somehow our civics that are made in Canada/US have a lot of recalls due to Alliston. I want to know the real reason why Honda isn't doing an investigation into the Alliston plant because of this. I'm furious that they haven't done anything about this yet and i hope they do. They might have to idle or close the plant down temporarily.

I think he's talking about the small rear window not the regular rear window. Some people posted pics of their busted/shattered small rear windows and i think it has to do with the seal or something. The seal can come loose on that and the regular rear window.

Oh,theres a few people on here that have had the small rear window shatter for reasons unknown. Theres a few threads about it and pics. I hope they give me an accord, fit or CRV visors because if they replace the visors with the same ones they are going to break again!

Does anyone have a picture of a broken visor? I'd be curious to see how they are breaking...
