I HIGHLY recommend this mod to anyone who is thinking about it; cheap, easy, and it makes the rear end look 10000000000000 times better.

HEY YOU GUUUUYYYS!

Ok, so I've looked at the entire thread and am still confused.

7440 or 7443 for the rear turn signal????

I got some 7440-because that is what sylvania said, but they did not fit -to long on the sides and I realized that they would light up clear and not amber.

This is definitely a mod I can do myself, but need clarification on the size.
I am going to buy them from auto illumination's website, but need to know which size 7440 or 7443 (what is the difference anyway-how bright?)

Also, I am going to clear the front lights. So, what size bulbs do I need to get for the front turn signals?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Front turn signal
3457LL

Rear turn signal
992 (7440A)

Tail light
7443

Hope that helps

Unless they are both the same bulb fitment which is weird? And the rear, according to Sylvania lamp replacement guide, are 7440 for rear TURN signal, and the famous 7443 that everyone talks about here are for our actual tail lights. Sorry if I confused anyone, just had to clear it up.

OSRAM SYLVANIA - Replacement Guide - Start
I did get the 7440 and they were too long from the side. They wouldn't fit and there was no way in hell I was going to force it in. the stock ones snap real quick..but the 7440 sylvania don't even budge in

so the number should say 992? because the 7440 that I put in wouldn't fit...I didn't want to force it in.....could it have been because they were clear and not chrome?

I got the sylvania 7440...the bulb was clear though. Maybe that's why.
I will definitely try the 7440.
How about for the front? I'm going to be clearing my lights.
