I just received the one that blinks red. It's not bad, but there is a hint of orange when it lights up.

To set it straight - use the 7440 for the turn signal that most people are trying to clear out. If you get the 7443, it will work, but you just need the 7440. The 7443 is on the brake lights that are covered up with the red plastic, so clearing them would be rather pointless.

I just bought the bulbs listed at the top of this page (post 181) and they work great. I bought the red version and it looks pretty cool. It blinks bright enough that there is no issue night or day. The red flash looks like it is supposed to match with the red part of the light. During the day, the chrome blends right in with the reflector. Well worth the $10 to make it look much cleaner.

okay so i was going to buy the all chrome ones from autolumination and was wondering if there are at least bright enough to see during the day i dont mind if there not as bright as the OEM and i dont really want to get the chrome dome cause the whole point of buying these bulbs is to not see any orange

Has anyone actually cleared the red plastic out of the tails and replaced with appropriate red bulbs? Is that even possible?

i had mine put in yesterday... i bought red signal lights for rears from autolumination

first of all i'm disappointed both the front and back ones are too dim. you can see at night but in the day time when the sun is out in full blast, you cant see it flash which IMO is fracking dangerous.

the red rear signal lights as some people have pointed out already have a hint of orange which to me is garbage. i'm putting in my stock yellow ones when i have time.
