What ever you have that can cut the tabs should be fine.
I'll tell you now though that they are pretty hard and they got my hobby knives dull.

Nope. I used it temporarily because my Silverstars crapped out (as expected) and had to wait for the warranty turn around.

I did this on my Integra a few years ago. The connectors melted from the extra wattage. Becareful.
