Installed blue Festoon lights in all the cabin lights, and it looks amazing. Pics will be up once I get my camera from the girlfriend. They do seem a bit bright, and I might turn them upside down, but they are really striking and give the car a bit of an edge.

I can find the led's for the map lights, but I can't find the led for in the trunk. If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to have two shipping charges.

Thanks

How much did you pay for the rear plate light LED?

It's like $5 at superbrightleds.com. You'll need two of the super-wide-angle LEDS. I have it and it's pretty cool - reminicent of a new GS430.

Yup resistors, soldering, circuits, wires and more. I have made a bunch for my fellow 8th Civic Vancouver buddies. I have done LED map, dome, trunk, licence plate and strips under the dash and seats. Everything is plug & play, but not the strips.

The only way to install LEDs without resistors is if the total voltage drop across the LEDs in series equal 14.2 volts. So you can put four 3.5v(4X3.5=14v) LEDs in series without any resistors.

i just installed them last night but i expected to be brighter yesss i no red ones are the lightest.. i was thinking about getting white ones(since they are the brightest) butt i just got red ones to match with my dashboard AND NO im not saying that its ugly or anything.. it looks really good during night time.. one bad thing about red one is that its really hard to look at maps since there are red dots for the locations and etc..

overall iiii would give 7 out of 10

by the way its hard to see the light through 35% tint

gooooooooooooood DIY by the way +1 for youuu =]
