Well i tried everything and no luck as well... I have a 12g wire running from + of the battery to the switch, then 12g from the switch to the fuse (7.5a), then 12g from the fuse to the resistor (RU12 from O'Reilly's) then i have two 16g wires running from resistor and spliced into to the high beams (white for passenger and pink for the driver side) and nothing. The resistor doesn't even get hot.

I tried diagnosing the problem by bypassing the switch and still nothing which doesn't make sense. Any suggestions?

well never mind... after much thought I finally figured out the problem...my connection to the high beams were not actually connected... those cheap splicers, so i soldered it.

shit..i still gotta try to correct mine..u soldered the wires to the high beams and everything worked fine? maybe i should check my T-Tap into the high beams..because my resistor doesnt get hot either..this way i dont have to redo everything..probably try this tomorrow

awesome man, its great to hear that you got everything worked out. yeah the wires down there are pretty tough to tap into unless you have small hands. i had some trouble with mine but eventually got it...

that borg warner resistor makes the drl's kinda dimmer than the original drl's power..is there like a 1ohm resistor out there that is like the borg warner one?

the BWD is designed for automotive use

if you want an ohm resistor with the mountable assets that the BWD possess than you should stop by a local electronics shop (where camera mechanics shop)
