hmm. i wonder if there's an alternative way of doing this...
although, this way is pretty straightforward...

but i mean, shouldn't our cars have the resistors/fuses already in place for the DRLs? then wouldn't it be a matter of rearranging wires to come on with the low beams?

just a thought... =/

the most difficult part about this diy is getting your hands on the right resistor. everything is straightforward, but apparently the appropriate resistor ain't readily available to everyone...

the drl's work like normal when the switch is off. the switch just keeps them on when they should be off. that is, it keeps them on when (1) the engine is not running or when (2) the engine is on AND the headlights are on...

hope it works out for you after you get the switch.

you might also want to make sure that you spliced into the right high beam wires. make sure its the white wires you went into

one side is white and the other side is pink right? something like that..i T-tapped them into the wire that wasnt BLACK..so im guessin its the switch..ima get a new one and see if that changes anything..and if not..ima jus redo all the wiring again basically starting all over..if that doesnt work..ima crash this car into a wall!
