Red and blue generally make it more difficult to see at night (reading maps, for example), but either blue or red make for a nice touch.

I just did this mod finally, and like the OP (Jgams), I had trouble getting the old bulbs out. I used a piece of hockey tape on my fingers... cloth side on bulb/adhesive side on my fingers, and was able to get the bulbs out with ease. it helped to push in the LEDs as well.

Just a little hint in case anyone is struggling with those tiny bulbs like I was.

Haha, I did the same thing! Except I wrapped the sticky side towards the bulb and yanked it right out.

Jcool, you got all ur lights from VLEDS right? Could you tell me exactly which ones you got for everything? I really like the way they came out in your car, at first I thought putting dome lights and map lights as LEDS wouldnt be bright enough, but they look really good in your car, and not cheap. I think I wanna do the same thing to mine..

lol yeah that warden guy took forever to get my items out...

thing is i dont wanna buy lights that are more expensive than they need to be, and at the same time, i dont wanna buy cheap dim ones that dont light up anything or look blue.. and since i dont know anything about what types of bulbs i need for each location or what works best, i was hoping to do the same setup jcool has cause it looks good from what i can tell
