This DIY is well put together, but somethings were a little off on my car. the passenger side went in just the same as this DIY. Just bolt on to the existing screw, couldn't be simpler. But on the driver side, there is a black box. it connects to the airbox but i didn't want to take it off. i have an 07 LX coupe, i didn't notice if the OP had a sedan though. and i know this is the wrong place to ask, but does anyone know what that box is? i'll get some pictures up if you guys don't understand what i mean.

Yeah....
I'm pretty sure you're lookingh at the resonator there. A box where air flows through before entering your engine. It is designed to quiet the intake. Take it off and you will have a louder deeper intake growl. Go ahead do it! Dont be afraid.

DIY headlights

Dude **** this shit, it ws so not worth having to take my whole wheel and pastic piece off just to change a bulb, i should have gotten the highbeam bulb instead tho. it took me three hours to do this, i had to jack the car up and everything

Nice. I just installed mine today. I have a question. Is there a certain way the bulb needs to be inserted? I just slipped it in and turned it. Does the bulb need to be facing up and the wire,(unsure of correct terminology), facing down? or does that not matter?

You don't have to remove the wheel to change the bulbs, you turn the wheel hard to the opposite direction, and then remove the 2 or 3 clips, (don't remember how many), and pull the black flap back and there's the back of the headlight. It took us all of 10-15 mins in the parking lot.

i see a couple of screws that look like they're holding the lightbulbs in place but in the manual there's no mention of having to remove them. i tried removing one of the highbeam bulbs but wasn't sure how hard i should turn it that quarter turn counterclockwise. any advice?

don't touch the screws just turn the bulb and it should come out, I'm not sure witch direction but it should be just like anything else turn to the left to loosen.

ANybody required to realign the light after HID install? I've been hearing in some forums it is necessary.
Also - how do you adjust the leveling?
Thanks!
