just take out fuse 37 and you elenimate the annoying day time running lights and your high beams will last longer ,, even cars with factory hid's have regular halogens as high beams , the catch is there bright because they dont have to reflect off anything in the headlight housing

I just installed my 6000k set up from fashtek.com you should check it out and see if its the same relay you got .. I only paid 140 and got and extra set of bulbs ..My first set was 6000k and next i am going to see if 5000k is really brighter .. I also found the perfect place to install the ballast , it,s right behind the fender wells there is a flat piece of frame i just zip tied the ballast there and you cant even see it .. Plus its away from the engine heat and all and any fluids /water.. ... If you can explain how to post pics here without downloading a different format i would be more than happy to show mounting pics when i get my 5000k bulbs in .. Yea that means i am back to pulling the fender wells out of the way to install the bulbs correctley without touching the glass .. let me know what you think about the kits from fashtek.com .So far they work great there is about a 15 second heat up time for the gas to be at it,s brightest ,but i can live with that and they make silverstar,s look like crappy factory bulbs

i have installed 2 previous XD kits and will be putting my new kit on my si when it arrives... make sure you mount the ballasts/ relays/ wires etc away from any possibility of getting wet... i would also recommend dielectric grease at the ballast and relay connections... |

just did the install the bulbs went right in... not sure what the 'longer screws' were about... there was PLENTY of space in the fenders for the balasts and the relays much better than the accord or rsx... made for a very clean install ... thanks for all the tips !
