Not to sound like the 5-0, but isn't it illegal to run more than four lights on at any one time??

hence, why the OEM standard is for the fogs to go off when you turn on your brights?!?!

Splice the PURPLE wire with a new wire of your choice then route it to the back of the steering column...

Just did this today on my day off... It was cake, and having Independant control of each light is nice.

Splice? or.... route?

Splice... I used quick splices... pretty much putting two wires next to each other, and compress the metal piece..

as for routing it... just... throw the wire through the holes in the dashboard...

And I think someone asked if I pulled my DRL fuse out... the question is.. HELL YES.

As for the legality for how many lights to be used.... I think they switch the fogs off for current draw issues... and in CA, you're not supposed to drive with the fogs on unless its foggy out...

I've left my fogs on a few times already but I think I've gotten use to it. I love this mod, my mom told me both my head lights were out, lol. And I did this to my boys fg2 aswell, best$ .30 ive spent in a while(wire splice)

It should be tied into the fuses controlling the stalk/fog/headlamps since its connected to the OE wiring.

Buy wire and splices

splice into orange
and cut orange before the splice furthest from the relay.

It should be above the brake/clutch pedal.... Stick your head in the footwell area while laying on your back and look straight up...

Hahah yeah, the only problem is you might forget your fogs are on in the day...

Ok so I am finally going to do this today but I have a question. Did you have to strip the purple wire before you put the quick splice red clip on?
