I am about to buy my fog lights online but I'm unsure of which to get and if there are any differences. I am looking at JDM OEM fogs. I have noticed two slightly different buttons for the interior: One where the FOG symbol is off center with an LED that lights up i guess when you push it. And one without the little light and the FOG symbol is centered.

Which is better? Is there a difference?

I just want to make sure I get the latest one and the right one and not some cheap imitation...

First one with the light:

Second one without it:

the one with the symbol in the center is more like the stock version, theres are all on ebay, if u plan to get a kit on ebay, get the one that says they are made of real glass, i have a feeling the other kits have plastic or polyvinyl lenses of some sort! u will see the kit, its a random one, and they brag about the glass alot, about 5-10 bucks more expensive

i think my foglights are pointing really close to the ground...
i cant tell that they are on..only when im on a super dark road and turn off the headlights do i actually see it...
how far ahead does everybody elses foglights shine???

its so hard to adjust the sedan one cause u have to take off the front bumper to get to the adjusting knob....

aim them as straight out as possible, trust me on this one, look at the probls jack has lol
yellow bulbs look retarded unless u are in a dense fog area
watch out for ones that dont include a switch that looks like the OEM one, that means ur gonna get a generic kit, and it WONT look good, almost garunteed
ionized kits are OK but not needed (the lens is ionized)
and if u have the money, invest in HIDs for the fogs, (not just plug and play, the retrofit itself!) they will make it WORTH doing the fogs!

um, sit the bumper up have a friend level it (with an actual lever), stick a laser or flashlight into the housing, and play away lol
otherwise, u have to have the bumper on the car, like most people do it :-P
just jack up the car turn the lights on and aim! :-) have fun, let me know how it goes!
