if you bought them from ebay they are 99.9% not perfect... i only have 2 of the 3 screws in because they dont even line up make sure you cut the hole in the bumper where the light is lined up...it will not line up perfectly with the cut out in the bumper. and you have to cut a hole in the firewall to slip the wire though. i had subs in my car and theres already a hole from the wires so i just slipped it thru that same hole. but i didnt go with the button i just wired it up with the parking lights so whenever my headlights are on it comes on. just read the diy for parking lights if you want that option |

I just finished installing my fogs from Password JDM and let me tell you I am not happy. The bracket didnt even line up close to the holes I had to bend the brackets and only got 2 screws in. Also the cut out for the fogs is too big for the fogs. Other than that wiring them up was pretty easy thankfully for this DIY.

Hi guys I have a 09 DX-VP I want to install fog lights. However my car doesn't have the instrument panel that has the slot for the button for the fog lights.... It just has a storage space. (ie. it doesn't have the panel with the blank spot for the button and the mirror adjusters)
What do I do? |

Just installed my fogs from the K2 website and I must admit the install was easy but looks like complete crap. The lights dont line even close to how they are supposed to and there are quarter inch gaps around the bottom of the lights. Aftermarket POS parts FTL!!! My neighbor just had factory ones installed and it looks flawless. If you want them to look good at night pick aftermarket fogs. If you want them to look good all the time shell out the money and choose the factory ones. I know I will from now on.

Alright. So, I just installed the PasswordJDM fogs for my 08 FG2 over the weekend and blew 2 fuses (7.5amps). I ended up using a 15amp fuse and everything seems to light up fine. Does anyone know which fuse I should be using exactly or am I fine the way I am right now?
Also, my fog light's on/off switch seems to be broken after a day. Does anyone know where I can just the switch? |
