Hey Matt I finally picked up my fogs and a front lip while I was at it today in San Jose. I installed both in about 2.5 3hrs. The only problem I had was getting to that damn wire by the Winshield Wiper Fluid and getting it also plugged in under the dast Mine was really tucked but with a help of a flash light I got to it and under the dash they were not plugging and my friend somehow got it. I couldnt wait to put them on. As soon as I got home I went to work on ripping my bumper off. haha. I currently have some bright white bulbs in. But I will show you a picture of mine. They are actually really good for 60bucks.

I'm missing the switch as well because they forgot to include it in the package but everything else is wired up. The fogs don't blink when I unlock the car. |

Aww my hands suffered for nothing since it doesn't snap. Will the fogs light up if the switch is not connected? I've done everything else but the switch which should be arrivig any day now.

Because I live in the city and I wanted my car to be near my apartment while I was working on it. I could leave it parked on the street but getting hit by a car while trying to work on mine isn't my idea of a good time. Not having a driveway definitely makes working on the car much harder.

its supposed 2 snap in, trust me i messed my damn fingers up trying when i finally figured it out and felt stupid. on the brown connector that u have, not the 1 thats connected to the car, on the top of it is a small piece that you can push down so when your sliding it in, it will latch on and click into place. But as 4 your fog lights not blinking when u unlock or lock your car you have to make sure you keep your fog lights button "ON" or "pressed in" even when you turn off your regular headlights. cause if the switch isnt pressed in and isnt on then when you lock/unlock your car it wont blink.

Useful info if you dont have money to buy a drill or proper tools,Go to a home depot or any hardware store and buy this hacksaw to cut out the fog lights, it cost me about $7. I made my cut outs in about 20min. a lil under 10min for each side. It cuts Great through the plastic cause it has very sharp teeth and the tip of it u can cut out the holes where needed, follow the CollegeHills PDF.
Be very careful with it and try not to cut yourself, or else you will suffer some consequences lol, i accidently stabbed myself down to the bone and my finger wouldnt stop bleeding for anything, it was the worst |

^ Oh wow thats really specific and helpful. For the brown connector ON THE CAR I noticed that there was a part I could depress but did not realized there is one on the wire harness. Guess its time to remove my bumper again. Anyway, I can't really test the lights yet because k2motors just shipped out the switch today. Its the switch to turn on the foglights, the one that goes to the empty slot on the dash and that is why the lights wouldn't blink in the first place - I cant press the switch and leave it on because I don;t have the switch.

well i hope everything goes good 4 you. but yea just hold that part you can depress down and push both ends in to each other and you should here it click, and if u tug a lil you'll notice it wont come off. i believe u can get to the wiring w/o removing your bumper again, u can try to take out the black panelling in front of your passenger tire, its only held on by a few clips and you should see the windshield wiper tank and if u could see that then you should see you wires. that blows that they 4got to give you a switch, that must of sucked when you got to that part. the only problem i had with my installation was i could get the 20amp fuse all the way in, it hangs out almost half way idk why i cant get it in all the way!

The fuse takes a little manuevering and pushing and it should go in. Thats is what happened to mine. and for the brown SOB I had problem with the one inside the car. Such a PITA. ahha. I tryed for a little and got bored and had to finish cutting out my holes in my bumper so my friend tried and was able to get it. He said you have to erally force it in

dude sorry about your hand... cutting through that thing sucked without the proper tool. I went through about 4 different blades on the box cutter because they kept breaking on me.
The more I have these fogs, the more I'm considering ditching the retro-fit that I just bought off someone on here... we'll see |
