Okay update on my dad
He broke his femur and collar bone. He had some bleeding in his stomach and threw it up and then drowned in it. Since the stomach aciid filled his lungs it ate away at them and now his lungs are permanately damaged. He will probably get really bad pneumonia. He is awake now but in lots of pain. He won't be home for a while he is in really good spirits and everybody is visiting him so he is not bored.

But on a good note! I am a total copy cat and ordered those yellow bulbs too! Haha Ebay FTMFW! $18 shipped! BOOYAH!! And they are Nokya hyper yellow too! My fogs are pointed straight up. They are higher than my high beams! I'll adjust them when I install the bulbs til then I won't turn em on do you loosten the screw or tighten it to move them down???? I'll post pics tomorrow.... At least some day ones!

the K2 switch in the kit is quite OEM looking...very nice. If you don't go HID soon, I will be surprised as you are an avid EBAY shopper like myself.

Thanks guys... I'm glad that people are finding the install useful

to answer some questions...

the bulbs are Nokya Hyper Yellow H11 bulbs (I don't have them for my DRL's yet) - got em on ebay for like 20 shipped or something

Threelake - Sorry about pops, but glad to hear that he will be making a recovery at least... my fogs are currently aimed WAY too high as well, I'll be dealing with that this weekend I think

Tomasro - You mean HID for my fogs or headlights? Part of me really wants retrofogs and some HID for them haha...

Jackolee - As you said, the k2 bulbs SUCK! one of mine blew after like 4 minutes haha.

The seller is GForceUSA. Are the fogs that he is selling the same as the ones K2 Motor is selling? I looked at K2motors ebay store and they dont seem to have 08 2dr civic fogs there. Are the ones from Gforceusa the same as the K2 ones?

I noticed that on the lense, there seem to be some letters on there. Do all of them come like that?

yeah I got mine from gforceusa... they do have lettering on them... but it's not noticeable at all

The only complaint I have is that there is no shield on my bulb as there is in the pic (which makes my fogs aim high and act as high beams currently)... I think this can be fixed somehow though.. still on it

overall... 56 bucks shipped was a great deal

Woop Woop I got my Nokya Hyper yellow bulbs in! Looks tight!

My dad is home and is doin a little better! He won't be walking or anything for 4 months!

The K2 fogs are the same as the Gforce ones. I ordered mine from Gforce and they had K2 stickers on em'.

I tightened mine allllll the way down. Just til' it met the spring and they are much better now! Not near as high. I look soooo sexxii with the yellow bulbs and them facing the right way haha!

Good to know about the tightening... and also great about your dad, glad he'll be okay.

I actually just bough retro fogs from someone on here, so I'll be rocking them in a few weeks... haha always upgrading!

NOTE:

Waiting for my retro fogs and still need to order an HID kit, so today after washing my car I did as Threelake said, and tightened the aiming screw. It makes a huge difference, definitely pointed the lights down a lot so they actually aim like fogs should!

my k2 fogs came in the other day and i got them installed today. the brackets didnt fit so well unfortunetly and we had to drill the holes to make them fit. Also, we cut the fog area around the outside of the circle and it seems to be too much. Either that or the fogs are not the right side. when we turned them on, they started smoking and i think the bulbs are burning the plastic. we switched out the bulbs and that seem to fix it. Overall pretty good buy cept that it didnt fit too good. Ill post up some pix when i can
