***!!!Yellow Headlights!!!!***

What exactly do people do to make their headlights yellow?... i dont mean the light projection in a bulb. im talking about what looks like the actually housing... i doubt its a film or nething like that cause most people have it on their drl/highbeam section. so basically even in the day that part of your head lights is yellow.... some assistance would be 100% greatly appreciated....!!!

Im wondering about this too. Because I want to do the yellow thing too but ordered 7440's and they were the wrong ones....I recently remember that our highbeams are 2-step. They are daytime driving lights and can be high beams also. So im assuming you have to order yellow highbeams?

All you need are yellow bulbs in your high beams...the yellow coat from the bulb reflects off the housing to make it look like the housing is yellow instead of chrome...that's all :)

Lamin X can be cut to only cover the Highbeam portion if you wish.

So you need to buy yellow highbeams to have yellow drivinglights/highbeams?

Its a bulb. Its not lamin-x. I tried putting lamin-x around the driving light only also. It doesnt work, the way the light is designed its too curvy so its pretty hard to get lamin-x on it perfectly

i had to take my lamin-x off on the side of the road with a state trooper SC. it is apparently illegal to tint your headlights and carries a 600 dollar fine.

now i rock the yellow highbeams, luminics jdm yellow to be exact.

go to IntakeOne.com Auto car performance parts and accessories to get the yellow low's/high's then go to Lamin-x.com - Protective Films and find an authorized installer in your area and have them do it for you. I've got mine done. Have had them on since may/june last year with no prob's. Only been pulled over twice for it and it was the same prick cop each time.
