Is this okay?

So i just installed a 4300K kit the other day and i broke the metal housing next to the bulb! Notice that i only broke the Housing of it, so the metal or whatever that thing is still connected...is this gonna affect the performance of my HID? Maybe affecting the life of bulbs? What do you guys think?

that metal jacket near the bulb I think is a cover for the wire that delivers the current to one side of the bulb...if they still work then it should be ok, it may end up reducing the life of the bulb...but I think it's just there for extra strength..but don't quote me on that...PM striker1818 he'd be able to give you better info

Aha thats good to know. My HID works fine, i was going to buy another pair of bulbs to replace the broken one. But i guess i'll save my money. 4300K FTW!!!
