if u mean the low beam lights then the best way is to turn ur steering wheel all the way to the right( this is for driver side) then pop of the screw under ur fender and pull back the under film u should b able to see the bulb now. just press on the release button and then turn the bulb clockwise 1/4th rotation and pull on the bulb. if u cant understand what im saying it should b in ur owners manual under the maitanece section

I doubt it'll matter, since the bulbs don't last that long anyway.

No, it really DOES matter. I've gone threw about 3 pairs of bulbs. I had the first two changed my the Honda dealership, they were expensive sylvanias. They did not last more than a few months. I was sure it was due to the mechanics touching the glass, because I'd seen them install some on a different car and they were pretty reckless about it. I was then fed up spending money on bulbs that burnt, so i bought an inexpensive pair that i installed my self SUPER carefully and they haven't burnt yet, its been well over a year now...

Yeah that's true. One of my bulbs even "exploded" or "broke". My guess is that the bulb must have had some dirt, maybe oil residue on its surface and the bulb must have caused it to over heat and break the glass. I now have some pieces of a bulb stuck in my headlight lol...

When you are removing the plastic wheel panel i noticed that you have to use quite a bit of force when removing it, is there any chance that it will break if pullet too hard, or when you have it out is it difficult to put back in?

No it isn't that hard to pull out, just make sure you remove all the clips, that was the most annoying part IMO. Besides that, just use sufficient amount of force and you should be ok. It really isn't that hard to put it back on afterwards.
