stock color of our turn signals are amber the bulbs for the front signals are white, but turn out to be amber because of the amber reflectors and the rear ones are amber.

For turn signals, they are required by law to illuminate amber or yellow, but you could get a chome-amber or chome-yellow bumb.

i have super white bulbs.. they are actaully blue bulbs so u see blue when they are not on but really white when they are..

i like the look of the white turn signals.. i've had them for the past 5 years on my old 1.6EL.. and i haven;t been pulled over once.. i have cops following me all the time (just by luck while driving)..

i originally bought the chrome bulbs that flash white but the chrome covering reduces the white light output so during the day u cannot see it..

my bulbs now are much better during the day that i got the blue bulbs that flash white

do you guys know if it is possible to make our head lights like the ones the rsx has???

ex: the rsx has the high beam, low beam, turn signals, and another light in the corner that comes on when you turn the lights on.

do you guys know if we can some how have another wire running that will do that same thing as that light in the corner of the rsx head lights???

when you clear your headlights... you take out the amber parts. the bulb left blinks white.

but you can order an amber bulb with a chrome coating so it looks clear... but blinks amber.

then your good.

It's illegal and dangerous. People might not notice your signal while they are driving facing you. I've seen one car with white turn signals in the front, and it was really not eye catching when he had it on...

a search of the California Vehicle Code on the DMV's website reveals this:

Code #24953.

(a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear. (In other words...clear is 100% LEGAL!)

(b) Side-mounted turn signal lamps projecting a flashing amber light to either side may be used to supplement the front and rear turn signals. Side-mounted turn signal lamps mounted to the rear of the center of the vehicle may project a flashing red light no part of which shall be visible from the front.

Amended Ch. 207, Stats. 1994. Effective July 18, 1994.
Amended Sec. 22, Ch. 945, Stats. 1997. Effective January 1, 1998.

Nice find socalcivicsi! I never would have guessed that you can use clear lights in the front IMO it's totally unsafe...
