Affect of retros on resale value

Hey guys just a quick question. I've never had retros done on a car before, so I was wondering if having them done would affect (btw I'm not sure if I'm using the right "affect" or "effect" but whatever) the resale value of my car in any significant way?

i think it may be treated as any other modification and would not raise it siginificantly

"affect" or "effect"
Affect is to change something.

Effect is the result of something.
The effect of NoS is extra horsepower!

more like, wont raise it at all. Maybe even loose a bit. Unless its something the dealership offers as an access on the, car the value of your car will not go up in the eyes of the dealership. Private sale....thats a different story.

If you sell your retrofit before you sell your car, you come out ahead. It's a win win.

retros keep their value pretty well. everyone wants them, but not everyone wants to pay the premium so they wait for retros to be sold on the forums at a discount

That's what I was worried about. But if I do sell them before I trade my car in, I would still have to buy a set of OEM headlights, no?

Make it one of the conditions of your sale that you trade headlights plus cash. It's worked MANY times before. Trust me. You have nothing to lose if you have a nice retrofit made.

Affect is a verb and effect is a noun - easiest way to keep them straight & always know which one to use.

Affect is also a noun that means feeling or emotional response, but unless you're strictly talking about mental state, stick to the above. Effect can also be a transitive verb that means to bring about and is common in business-speak, but in most cases you're better off sticking with affect.
