Angel (halo) Eyes For a 07 civic ex 2dr

i was wondering if i can trust ebays halo angel eyes. I have read that the plastic projector lights are no good. I also wanted your opinion on how to and where to add the LED's if i do it myself on my stock headlight.

try procivic.com and xtralights.com they have quality lights, HOWEVER, i want you to know that the ones from procivic.com are not compatable with HID's if you ever plan to install them

i already installed the HID's so i guess that one is out of the question. I read that you can bake the head light to take the lens off and then add the led strip your self? is this true?

Damn nice info I didn't know the ones from procivic.com weren't compatible with HID's. Btw whats the difference with the ones with amber reflectors and the ones w/o them?

you can bake the housing at a low temp (enough to soften the glue molecules)

-while the glue is soft, pull the lens off the housing

- and you're free to do whatever you want, whether it be painting the inside of the housing black, or adding LED strips,

But my lights arent a strip, there are holes intergrated into the housing , an LED strip sounds kind of sketchy

but be cautious, when you rejoin the lens onto the housing, you have to be damn sure to make a good seal, otherwise you're going to get condensation inside the housing, and it will look like shit!!

Also if and when you bake it, you have to meticulously watch it to make sure you dont ruin the plastic or warp the shape of it!

^ i'm pretty sure that the plastic isn't strong enough to withstand the head from HIDs

I thought HIDs generate less heat than Halogen except for the initial start-up? Or was that only less power after initial startup, hmm.

HIDs generate less heat than Halogens. There's another guy who did a DIY I think who showed 5 or 10 degrees cooler HID's than halogens after about an hour of running them. Initial start up may cause more heat, but not enough to melt the headlights.

eBay VS. Procivic

I found the same halo projection headlights from pro civic on eBay for 123.99 + tax. Does anyone know if there is a difference with quality of the product? I am not too worried about warranty, I just want a quality product. What do you think?

i have the procivic ones. never any problems. i also saw the ebay ones and from what i heard they fog up after a while. i got afriend on here and that happend to him. i figured i would shell out 100 more dollars to stay away from that promblem.

For the ones who bought their headlights from procivic.com, can you post some pictures of the lights on and off. I want to see how they look

When I was clearing my headlights I took some of my foot well lighting LEDs and slapped them in to see what they could look like. I think you mean you wanted to do something like this with your stock headlights?

They looked sweet but I didnt like that I couldnt add a switch to them cause I dunno how to run the wires from the engine bay into the footwell
