k2motors have horrible service...just search it up on thread..i ono why people keep using them...i would personally go with OEM foglight kit (which i did)...and intalled it myself..couldnt be happier with the results, im running 2500k PIAA bulbs, but if you really want yellow lenses...you can always trade someone for their ebay lenses...and use the rest of your oem kit

I wanted the ability to run the fogs independantly from the headlights and wound up buying from K2Motors on e-Bay. I had several quality issues and they do not come with instructions or any support. However, they were cheap and required modifications to the connectors to work. Your call..

One of the bulbs was bent down at an angle due to poor manufacturing and ended up burning out approx 10 mins after installing it.
The other bulb didn't seat securely in the foglight housing (left or right). Since the bulbs were coated blue and provided low illumination I ended up replacing them with clear Honda ones which were noticably brighter. Inside both foglights there is a cylindrical shield that goes around the bulb, both were found bent down and would have interferred with the light bulbs. I had to use a screwdriver to bend them back straight. The right hand foglight had a missing cover over the breather vent and it quickly fogged up. Had to dry it out and fashion a plug over the vent. Other than that and the obvious lack of thought by the people who designed it (connectors that didn't fit or reach) they have been working great since I installed them in January. Because I didn't feel like fighting with the connector behind the windshield wash fluid jug, I opted to buy the Honda OEM harness for the front end and it all just snapped together PnP like it should have been in the first place. Total cost was probably about half of what Honda wanted for their's. |
