Ya I used the fuse box, its the 6 pin blue connector on the top left. I pretty sure that it was the bottom right pin on the connector (use a muiltmeter just to be sure). You also could use a fuse like acc. what you do is bend the wire around one of ends of the fuse and then jam the fuse back in the spot where is came from. As for the - just connect it to the main ground screw just to the top right of the fuse box. This is how I have my leds and my kenwood keg installed. Check out http://www.collegehillshonda.com/ins...lumination.pdf to see the connector and groung screw.

Thanks again
My wire it kinder thick to jam into the fuse box. I went out and purchase the courtesy light from the dealer. I install myself today. It take me two hrs on the project. It work very nicely for me. I didn't put exactly where the installation manuel suggest. I have two more neon light. I install the blue rocker switch. I ground the light already. The only thing is not attach is the positive. That positive is where I'm stil ponder to attach to option one: splice the Honda courtesy light and attach it option two: your way (wire jam to the fuse) option three: test more wire with my digital v meter I taken picture of my project, after I complete my task. I show you the finish work ![]() |

Your fuse ideas was great, Thanks
Here how I do it. Tool needed: circuit crimping plier, fuse remover kit, wire (black-) and (red +) 1. buy "add-a-circuit" fron autozone or car part store ![]() 2. attach to your fuse box. I recommended the 7.5v radio fuse. I think the number is 35. Check your honda Civic manuel. It located near the back section. Make sure your secondary fuse is the same voltage where the fuse you plan to connected in the fuse box. ![]() 3. The "red" wire run to the switch ( toggle switch on/off). The middle attach to your positive (light, neon, etc..), The black wire ground it to your metal skeleton . Just look straight up beneath the driver dash. You will see the ground. It have two hole for grounding. You either get a bolt and nut or loop-it and tie it. positive and negative wires and toggle switch ![]() ![]() complete ![]() You are able to turn on the neon light, courtesy light...etc. whenever or whatever as long the ignition key is turn on where you have power to radio, window, etc....
