Great retro man. I was wanting something similar to this :) Although, I'm debating if I want to chrome the amber turn signal area or not.

At any rate. They look gorgeous, and I can't wait to get mine :)

it is illegal to chrome out the amber turn siganal part of the headlight complitly there has to me at least a 2inch patch of anber reflector

yeah, depending where you are, its illegal to have cleared turn signals. there must be a amber reflector in the front turn signals. even if you get amber turn signal bulbs and cleared corners there's still no amber reflector.

thanks for the replies folks.

i'm glad i've changed peoples minds about doing blacked out retros. kinda get a self satisfaction that i started something, but i'm not gonna brag about it, just happy with myself.

no prob.

you can take out the amber cover that goes over the turn signal. just keep the amber reflector thats inside the chrome housing and get amber bulbs. you should be ok with that.

wow that looks sharp buddy! im gonna get this kind of set up too for my nhbp fg2...that'll match perfectly to my black car. btw are all pictures taken on low beam only? or some of those pictures are high beam too? cause they shoot so far and so wide.

its all low beam. its a single xenon setup. bi-xenin setup would be what you're thinking of like eseye's TFX setup. my DRLs remain as my high beams.

Only a projector retrofit will get you that result.

single xenon is low beam only
bi-xenon is low and high beam

i have no use for bi-xenon as i hardly use my high beams, that and i wanted S2Ks cuz they're just bad ass as a single xenon setup.

plus yellow high beams are more noticeable when you want people to get out of the way when they're driving slow in the passing lane.

Yes, they are. So the clear lenses are that much more valuable.
