yeah, they did. if you've ever seen an E46 you'll see they're circular. there are replica shrouds being produced now that dont say XENON on the side and continues the etching/indents all around. they look pretty sweet but i love how these say XENON.

cost? i've stated that in the other post. i could have bought I/H/E for the price.

thanks for all the replies everyone. like i said before, i wanted a stock look and i achieved that.

Yeah I was thinking of getting the E46 replica ones for my retro - but it's gonna be done locally - don't know if we can cut it. I'll have to check.

Thanks

about the fog lights is there any way you can aim them up a bit so they are not as useless as they are now pointing straight at the ground

no, no i cant. the foglight itself is crap and doesnt fit in the hole in the bumper properly. i tried swapping the brackets to the stock ones and still nothing so i have to point them down just to get them to fit. dont buy BE fogs.

i'm gonna try and get plexiglass cutouts for my OEM fogs that have a crack in the glass.

Wow. That's about all that comes to mind.

I have to say, that's absolutely perfect. I previously thought that blacked-out was the only way to go, but seeing yours, they're quite amazing. Looking at them, you'd never guess they weren't OEM, and that's the perfect look imo.

This is the picture that impresses me the most. When you see a picture of retros, you very often see the light reflecting off the interior of the lens, due to minor dust left behind. But there is virtually none there, just a very clean shine, almost as if there's no lens there at all.

sorry but in gonna critisize if you dont mind... the only thing that i dont like, seing them in person is that the shroud doesnt go all the way back to the housing on the top. it leaves a big gap.

i know what you mean, i dont think there's a shroud out there that is that long. you could move the projector further back but then it would stick out of the back of the headlight. then you wouldnt be getting as much light output as well because it would be too far back.

This is easily the best retro setup I have seen to date. I thought about doing chrome but never saw it and wasnt sure how it would look on Silver, but I think you just made up my mind. GREAT retro setup man. It looks superb. + invisible rep
