IM looking for the right bulb to replace the drl's...

Hey Guys I did the search but no luck.... Anyways, Ive seen acouple of pics of guys on here that have yellow light bulbs in the conpartment for the drl's/high beam... Im looking for something similar since im planing to purchase the yellow fogs pretty soon and wanted them to match...

Does anyone know the size and maybe where to purchase them? I want good quality and not cheap looking when on.....

Thanks

I'm the exact opposite... I want to find some lamps that will make my DRL's NOT yellow. What lamps will make them look like a dimmer version of the white lights. Right now i'm running Silverstar Ultra in the low beams.. but plan on getting HIR's when i get the chance (at least till i can afford to get a Projector Retro done)

The highbeam is a 9005 and you can get them from many different companies. I have PIAA and they are very nice.

I wish they had a nice cluster of 1 watt white LEDs for the 9005 bulb type. I'd be fine having those as my DRLs (I'm mostly in the city/well lit areas).

I think a company called VLED makes 9005 LED bulbs, afaik those would work as DRLs..

Here you go: eBay Motors: PIAA TERA 6000K White LED 9005 9006 HB3 HB4 Fog DRL NEW (item 370037360736 end time Apr-04-08 17:49:51 PDT)

Not sure if they would work, and you would likely be killing the functionality of your high beams... probably illegal as well, but hey, they're 9005 LEDs! w00t!

That's why I was looking to go LED. Any filament based bulb will have a lower (yellower/orangey) color temperature when at a dimmer amount of power going to the bulb. Unless you had a crazy amount of blue on the bulb, the DRL will look yellow. If I knew more about electronics/soldering, I'd mount a 3 watt white led surrounded by white 1 watters on a 9005 base and have me a nice little DRL bulb.
