Headlight Adjustment

I've recently purchased a new set of headlights for my Civic Coupe and installed them yesterday. I went out at night for the first time with my new headlights and noticed that they were aimed WAYYY to low. The beam was only shooting at the ground and didn't light up any signs at all.

I already know how to adjust these babies, but I don't know how high to aim the beams. Is there a certain way to align these perfectly? I want to align them once without having to always align them over and over, trying to find the perfect alignment.

-Thanks

park 25 ft away from a wall on a flat surface and aim your cutoff to about 28-30" off the ground

That should be the best measurement. You use 8mm to turn the knob in the back of the headlight.

Is it impossible to turn it with your fingers?
